Chopper College’s Machining Class is a hands-on, career-focused program designed to prepare students for real-world manufacturing and fabrication environments. Students learn core machining skills including manual mill and lathe operation, precision measurement, blueprint reading, and shop safety, while gaining exposure to modern machining practices and tooling. The class emphasizes accuracy, problem-solving, and craftsmanship, giving students the confidence to produce quality parts from start to finish. Whether students are new to machining or building on existing skills, this course lays a strong foundation for careers in machining, manufacturing, and the skilled trades.
